Children
First UU Church has a thriving program for children! We have age-appropriate classrooms with ample room for the children to learn, play, and grow.
Our RE classes for children and youth are held each Sunday morning from 10:45 to 11:30 AM.
Our children describe Unitarian Universalists as people with “open minds, caring hearts and hands that are ready to serve.” Children and youth participate in lessons and activities that build community to help them cultivate and explore their values. We use curricula developed by UU Religious Educators, rooted in our UU Sources and Principles. RE is a place to learn, be yourself, and have fun!
The children’s version of the Seven UU Principles, shown above, provides the basis for our Religious Education program.
