Our church’s symbol, the flaming chalice, was inspired by the UU tradition of service. Here are just a few ways in which we live out those values.

Each Sunday we collect donations for various organizations in the county. Our Give Away the Plate program supports the many efforts of First UU members to give aid to those in need and to support social justice projects in our area. Recipients have included Alice Paul House; CARE Center of Indiana County; Family Promise; Open Door; SisTers PGH; UUJusticePA; Western PA Fund for Choice; Indiana Free Library; and Suicide Task Force of Indiana.
