Welcome to the
First UU Church of Indiana, PA!
First UU is a strong and vibrant Unitarian Universalist congregation in Indiana, Pennsylvania. We are a congregation of people who seek the truth, strive for a better world, and commit ourselves to right relations and thoughtful living. Our congregation has been a beacon for free minds, acceptance, and social justice for over half a century. First UU is a “beloved community” built on a covenant of shared commitment, where individuals and families can grow and learn in an atmosphere of regard and respect. We welcome you to explore what we can offer you and our community.
In the Spring of 2013, First UU opened it first branch site in Clarion, Pennsylvania! The mission of First UU is to bring progressive, liberal, and alternative religion to rural Western Pennsylvania. If your spiritual journey has led you to one of our worship services, programs, or social events at either our Indiana or Clarion sites, you are welcome! Weekly worship services in Clarion begin on April 14th.
In Indiana, we gather together each Sunday morning at 10:30 AM for Worship.
From Labor Day through Memorial Day, our children and teens join us for the beginning of our worship service before moving to the Religious Education classroom wing for age-appropriate lessons.
A social hour for deeper conversations and connections follows each service.
We are proud to be a UUA CERTIFIED WELCOMING CONGREGATION!
