Flower-Communion-1

Flower Communion is an annual Unitarian tradition first created by Czech
minister Rev. Norbert Chapek in 1923.  Flowers were collected before the
service and create bouquets representing all the talents and love we bring
to this community and what we create together. At the end of the service,
after hearing the story of Norbert Chapek and a homily by Rev Joan each
person were asked to take home a different flower as a reminder of the
beloved community created together at First UU.
